This week I decided to tackle Melania Trump’s new candid interview with Anderson Cooper on CNN 360. While discussing Trump’s leaked tape where he is overheard saying vulgar things like, “when you’re a star, they let you do it”. After stating such vulgar things he continues to brag about groping, kissing, and touching women. Now one would assume that Melania would be livid at this display of vulgar and inappropriate language, but she isn’t. In her interview she explains that what the world witnessed was, “boy talk” and that her husband was, “egged on” by others on the bus. But she is confident with how she confronted her husband, telling copper that she told him his language was “inappropriate” and “not acceptable”. Now maybe I’m wrong, but this language is more than inappropriate, its down right disgusting. But once again, I’m not married to the candidate, Melania Trump is. And she seems to think that what he said doesn’t define him as a person, and better yet, is was Billy Bush who egged on and started the crass conversation. As the interview continues, Melania goes on to say that before the tape was released, she had never heard her husband use such language. Thus, making her surprised when the tape was released. Near the end of the interview one can easily tell that Melania is exhausted with the interview/interrogation she just went through. After all, it would be very difficult to be married to a man that you continuously have to apologize for.
